Arvada Sunrise Rotary Foundation's 4th Race 4 Rotary will be held at Podium Karting on August 20, 2023.
Prior to 2020, Race 4 Rotary was Arvada Sunrise Rotary’s major fundraising event. After a four-year hiatus, it is returning. The event includes kart racing on an indoor track with advanced safety barriers, high-speed straightaways and challenging cornering sections; axe throwing that includes Duck Hunter and Connect-4; a catered meal from Famous Dave’s; after racing enjoy a drink at the Trackside Tavern.

The Fastest Rotary Club will be awarded the Race 4 Rotary traveling trophy. The first, second, and third fastest racers will receive plaques. The fastest racer for a sponsor will receive the Fastest Sponsor plaque.

Proceeds from the event support the ASR Foundation which funds numerous projects, locally, nationally, and internationally. It raised funds for Ukrainian Refugee Relief, matched the funds raised and sent $5,600 to the Rotary Foundation. Funds were donated to the Marshall Fire Relief effort. To recognize World Polio Day, it held an event in conjunction with Arvada Rotary and sent $3,000 in support of Polio Plus, a Rotary initiative to eradicate polio. It used matching funds for Majestic View Nature Center’s Bull Snake exhibit and adaptive gym equipment for youth with special needs in Ecuador.

About Arvada Sunrise Rotary
The Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club supports its community in numerous ways. It has donated to Rotary International's Polio Plus effort to end polio throughout the world. For several years the Club has supported Feeding the Future backpack program for an Arvada elementary school. It's one of several service clubs actively participating with Arvada Wheat Ridge Service Ambassadors for Youth (AWRSAY), that assures youth in the community who have overcome adversity are recognized and acknowledged. It has kept over 1,500 pounds of plastic film out of the landfill. This has resulted in two Trex benches being placed in the community. The genesis of two service organizations came from the Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club. SCOPE International and Food for Thought Denver were both founded by Arvada Sunrise Rotarians.
